From May 2015 - August 2016, I had the privilege of working with the Church of God International Offices on the branding, creative development, and experience design for the denomination's bi-annual international gathering.
As part of a larger creative/media team, I led branding/guide writing and print advertising leading up to the assembly for the better part of a year. For the on-site experience, I created a cohesive style that carried throughout all official directional and impact signage. Secondarily, I designed live social media content throughout the five-day conference, which helped to bridge the experience for people in attendance as well as those following from across the world.
In working on this material, it was important that the style be clear, informative, and forward-thinking while also appealing to a wide range of ages and demographic backgrounds. The solution was elegant and clean while relying on timeless design: strong type, color, and appropriate contrast.
As a result of the efforts of an extremely competent and efficient team, this event was a marked success on a number of levels. It was an honor to be involved in something that touched thousands of people's lives over a long period of time, including the week of the event itself.
